Christmas 2007

The boys were at Matt's (their dad's) until Christmas day at 1 o'clock this year. I missed them terribly especially on Christmas Eve. From what they say they had a lot of fun. We postponed the traditional Christmas Eve party until Christmas day so that Cadence, Easton and Vaughn could be there. Once the kids got home on Christmas day we opened presents. They seemed to like everything they got. This year Santa brought Cadence a chemistry set and Easton a big ship building toy. They also got several transformer related toys and a lot of books.

At 3 o'clock Jenni showed up with her kids, Gavin is now walking!! I can't believe it! Grandma Van wasn't feeling well enough to come this year. We missed her. Lucas, Paula, and Amy and Vaughn and their kids came later as well. It was fun to be all together. We had a great program with parts for people to read and a lot of singing.

om and Dad are now in Brazil and things are calm again. I can't believe Christmas is already over. WOW, the year went FAST!

Watch Gavin walk!!

Cadence's Christmas Program

Cadence had his Christmas program today at Rock Canyon. It was so cute. I about cried. Oh the memories. At the end of the 2nd grade proformance one kid puked on the stage...ooops...I am glad it wasn't Cadence! The stage was kind of dark so the pictures didn't turn out too well....sorry!

EASTON IS 4!

Saturday was Easton's real birthday. It was a day full of fun for Cadence as well as Easton. Cadence had 2 birthday parties to attend before we went out for Easton's. Lucky kid! Easton and I went to Wal-Mart to spend the gift certificate that Amy gave him. He picke a cell phone transformer. HE LOVES IT! He won't put it down! He even took it to show and tell today. Later we went to Chuck E Cheeses with Amy and her kids. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved it. We spent over 3 hours there. Easton was so tired by the end he told me that he WANTED to go home. Shaun was scared of the animals on the stage. I was too at one point :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY EASTON!

Merry Chirstmas!

"Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?"

"Yes. What can I do for you?"

"I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor Virgil Smith. He's hidin'marijuana inside his firewood!
Don't quite know how he gets it inside them logs, but he's hidin' itthere."

"Thank you very much for the call, sir."

The next day, twelve Sheriff's Deputies descend on Virgil's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept.

Using axes, they bust open every piece of! fire wood, but find no marijuana.

They sneer at Virgil and leave.

Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house.

"Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd....Did the Sheriff come?"

"Yeah!"

"Did they chop your firewood?"

"Yep!"

"Merry Christmas, buddy!"

Easton and Kyana

We celebrated Easton's 4th birthday and Kyana's 8th birthday on Saturday. It was a small party with just Grandma, Grandpa, Jenni and her kids, Amy and her kids, and me and my kids. Here are some pictures of the party.

Tag!

I was tagged by Alisa...

Here are a few of the things I can't live without:

1: My car...I seem to live in it these days. Going to and from school in Draper, the nursing home in Orem, work, day care...and everywhere else I end up going....

2: My laptop...ok my dad's laptop that he is letting me use while I am in school. I am always on the computer emailing class mates about homework, friends about random stuff or posting on my blog....sometimes I actually do my homework on the computer as well!

3: My DVR. I am never home anymore and if I am I am usually sleeping or doing homework. When I get a chance my DVR allows me to catch up on some of my favorite shows that I would otherwise miss! YEAH!

4: Hair stuff...I love the stuff that keeps my hair curly. It is a lot faster to do my hair curly than straight!

I tag Nicole and Amy :)

Going on a train!

Lights At Temple Square...

On Thursday afternoon Grandma, Grandpa, Amy, Vaughn, Kaleb, Kyle, Sasha, Shaun, Cadence, Easton, and I all went to to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights. We started out by going to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. It was really good and a lot of fun. We then went and parked at at the Sandy Trax station and took the train up to SLC. The weather was perfect. A little cold but not bad for this time of year. We had a great time at Temple Square. It was beautiful as always. I gave up doing all of my homework and studing for my test to go. I am sure it was worth it....at least until I get my scores back!
