First Day of School!

Today was the first day of school for the boys. Cadence is in 4th grade and Easton is in kindergarten! I can't believe it! I especially can't believe that my baby Easton is in KINDERGARTEN! What the freak!?! He kept telling me "Can you believe that I am going to kindergarten in elementary school?" What a cutie!

Easton was so excited last night it took him forever to fall asleep. I went in to check on him and this is how I found him! He had taken out all his school supplies and surrounded himself with them! What a CUTE CUTE kid! I could just bite him he is so cute! I love him so much!

Easton is all ready to go! He is in his new outfit. I felt bad because I ordered his backpack from overstock.com and it hasn't arrived yet so he had to use my old, worn-out backpack. He still looked great though!

Cadence looks awsome in his new outfit that he got from his Grandma and Grandpa Humes for his birthday! He is also wearing the backpack and shoes he got from Aunt Karla and Uncle Mike! He is so big and tall! I love him so much! He was getting annoyed with me because I wanted to take pictures and walk him to his classroom. He ended up walking to his classroom by himself because he didn't want to wait for me....I think he was a little embarrassed too! He is so grown-up!

I did get a chance to walk Easton to his class. He sat right down and got working on his first assignment! I couldn't help but tear up!

He looks so cute! He was so excited because he got a new watch to wear to school. He is so big!
I can't wait to hear about their first day! I hope they have a great day! Now I have to figure out what to do all day with out them! I guess I can start by cleaning up the house. It is a mess after all the partying we did this weekend for Cadence's birthday!

Both of your boys are SO grown up! And just think it was a "few" years ago we were teaching you in Sunday school! ;)

Oh, that is so exciting. And so sad too. I'm so happy that Easton was excited to go - you never know how that first day is going to playout. They both look so cute. Love the school supplies around him!

Eastons sleeping antics are the best! I keep wanting to post a picture of Shaun who fell asleep with his pirate eye patch on and his telescope in his hand after he got home from his pirate birthday party. Kids are the BEST, (especially asleep!) :)
