Here is a quick update on the Humes family.
We made it to Arizona in February. Things are finally settling down for us here. Cadence just finished 3rd grade and is happy to be out of school for the summer. I finished my orientation period at Phoenix Children's Hospital. I finally get to work as an RN (Registered Nurse)! To top it off I get to work with kids! It is a hard job but I am loving it! Easton is loving it here too. He was going to preschool but just finished. I am keeping him home for the summer with Cadence. We spend a lot of time at my sister Karla's house. She has a backyard with a kiddie pool which the kids love playing in. It is about the only thing we can do outside due to the heat...and yes I know it is only May and it is only going to get hotter! Karla is my lifeline....she makes everything possible! THANKS KARLA! She takes care of the boys while I work. Alisa one of my other sisters steps in a lot to help with the kids too. Mandy is also great! She is my sister-in-law and steps in to help me with the kids a lot too! It is hard being a single mom but I have a great family which makes it a lot easier! Thanks you guys!
Here is a picture that Cadence of our house. He wanted to show his friends where we live now.
This is a picture of Cadence leaving for his first day of school here in Arizona. I was at work but Karla and my mom stepped in for me to send him off! Thanks!
Here are some pictures of the kids at Karla's house playing in the pool!
Cadence is always creating things. We bought a new fan to help us deal with the Arizona weather and the boys immediately found a great use for the box. They made a robot costume. Easton loves what his brother creates for him. I love how they play together!

Love the pictures of the boys! Sounds like things are going well for you. We miss having you in the Ward and Cadence is greatly missed at school! Tell him to keep up on his typing. Hope to see you this summer!
I'm so glad you posted photos! We miss you but it looks like things are going so great for you. Please keep posting so we can keep up with your lives :)
Way to go on the RN! And the house, and the job, and everything. Glad to hear it.
