OK...I am going to do a catch-up blog! Here are some pictures and videos from the summer that I have been meaning to post!
On the morning of the 4th of July my parents, my kids, and the Lithuanian family that came to stay with us went down to see the hot air balloons launch....In true Aidukaitis fashion we missed the launch but it was cool to see all the balloons anyways!
After the balloons we went home and got ready for the parade. My boys looked so cute and they had a lot of fun! We go every year.
After the parade my whole family went back to our house to have lunch. The Lithuanian family brought T-shirts to share with us...sooo nice of them! Alisa (my sister) and Vaughn (my brother-in-law) both liked the same shirt and started a tug-o-war over the shirt. My sister had all her weight pulling back on the shirt when Vaughn let go....Alisa went tumbling backwards and ended up breaking her radius and compacting all the wrist bones together.....I took her the the ER and we spent most of the rest of the afternoon in the hospital. She stayed an extra week with us (she was visiting from Arizona) to see the doctor again but she ended up having to go back to Arizona and have surgery on it anyways! How sad! It ruined her whole vacation!
Later that night we all went over the the Provo Temple grounds to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks! Alisa didn't make it...she was in too much pain, but the rest of us had fun!
This is a picture of Karla, my sister, and her adorable daughter Natalie. They were also visiting from Arizona. Mike, her husband was here too!
This is my little Easton. He is 4 1/2 years old! My baby is getting so big!
Here is a picture of me and my boys Cadence and Easton. Cadence is turning 8 today! Wow, I feel old!
This is a picture of the Lithuanian family that came to visit us. From left to right it is Loretta, Gretta, and Edmundus....I am not sure of the spelling of their names!?
This is just a bunch of us waiting for the fireworks to begin!
Cadence is such a goof! He is always trying to be funny or being a tease!
We normally do our own little fireworks after the big ones on the 4th but we decided to wait and do them on the 5th at my sister Amy's home. It worked out really well. It was also my niece Sasha's birthday!
My parents and my kids and I went to the concert on the lawn down at the park on 5th North and 5th West. We used to go to this on Sundays when I was little too. I loved it. At the end they all march around the park to music still, just like when I was little!
